Patient Decision Aids

Patient decision aids help a person being treated for medical problem and their practitioner to make appropriate decisions about taking a medical test or any kind of diagnostic procedure. When facing multiple options, or uncertain outcomes and harms the decision aids help patients choose the optimal path they should take with their care by making decisions based on their personal preferences and values.

Example below is an Australian screening mammography decision trial where researchers from the University of Sydney have compiled the available evidence in the area of mammography screening and created the patient decision aid. The intention is to provide you with unbiased information so that you can make a decision after considering the evidence.

Other Personal Decision Guides are available on the Ottawa Health Research Institute website.

I feel the need to tell you that if the purpose of the blog is to succeed through google adsense, then you are probably approaching it all wrong. When you have information that is copied from other sites, you suffer severe penalties in the search engine rankings. Basically, because of the duplicate content, you are digging yourself in a hole, and it's hard to get out of it. The way to make money through google adsense is through targeted audiences from search engines. What you are doing right now will get you maybe a click here and there, but it will never amount to say tens of thousands of page impressions a day. I hope this helps :)
